OPPORTUNITIES TO GIVE
The shepherd's fund allows us to help families and individuals in our church family who are in need. Many of you have asked how you can contribute to the shepherd's fund. Make your checks out to North Bible Church and simply write "shepherd's fund" in the memo line of your check. For cash contributions you may use the envelopes designated for the shepherd's fund in the back of the chairs in the Worship Center.

MIRACLE LEAGUE OF ARIZONA
Approximately 6 miles southeast of North Bible Church is a baseball field with a stadium designed specifically to accommodate children and adults with disabilities and special health care needs. During most of the games, players are matched with "buddies." Buddies assist their players as much or as little as needed to ensure a safe, successful experience. Coaches help provide the structure and encouragement to facilitate the games. Coaches are adult volunteers, and the buddies are typically middle school or high school aged volunteers. Other volunteer opportunities include announcers, team mom/Dad, sound technician, concessions & registration. The commitment is once a week for a eight week season. This is a simple way to "love your neighbor" by helping the players enjoy a social and recreational activity, and by showing parents that others value their kids. Far too often, families can become isolated. This is a place where kids and adults with special needs can be themselves and fit in.

BAPTISM
Baptism is an opportunity for you to make a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ. If you are interested in being baptized, please sign up at the link below. We are excited to celebrate with you and provide the following dates for baptism in 2013.

ADOPT A ROOM
Volunteers clean North Bible Church each week and many of these volunteers need a break. We are asking for people to "adopt a room" for a year, which means coming in at least once a month or more...whatever works best for you and/or your family to clean an area of the church. We need help getting the church cleaned after each Sunday and then again after our mid week activities on Wednesdays. It's a great service activity to do with your family, small group and/or friends. If interested contact Sharon at 480.270.5600 or ssmith@nbcaz.org.
