Sharon Smith, Assistant to Senior Pastor and Worship Arts
Sharon came to know the Lord in 1967 at her church in Portland, Oregon.  As a child she moved around a great deal with her family and one of the first things they did as a family was to find a church home where they could grow, serve, and be accountable to other Christians.  That remains true today with her husband, Benn, and their two daughters, Becca and Rachel. With a BA in Human Development and a Multiple Subject Credential from Cal State Long Beach, her main area of service at church and in the community has been with children, with music a close second.  As a young mom she was very involved with MOPS leadership and has been part of a variety of women’s Bible studies.   Sharon has served as the administrative assistant and gate keeper for the North staff and family – a job she loves as it is all about the people and being organized!
