Central America

In 2012, North Bible Church identified Central America as one of our regions of focus. According to Living Water International (LWI), more than half of the world's hospital beds are occupied by children and adults suffering from water-related illnesses. In partnership with LWI, North Bible has sponsored and sent teams to drill seven wells in Guatemala. Our eighth well will be drilled in January. Each of these wells provides clean water to a community that desperately needs it. Our drill teams also provide health and hygiene training and share the Gospel with those in the local community - all in the name of Jesus. You can learn more about LWI at their website

India is another area of missions focus for North Bible. In 2012, North Bible began partnering financially with a ministry known as Mission India. Since then, we have sponsored indigenous church planters, Adult Literacy Programs, and Children's Bible Clubs. Sponsorship of a church planter spans the course of one year and provides training, education, materials and oversight for a pastor as he works to establish two new churches in an area. Adult literacy programs serve to empower both men and women in local communities by giving them an essential tool for employment as well as preventing others from taking advantage of them. Through the literacy programs participants learn various life skills, receive health and hygiene lessons, hear the Gospel, read Scripture, and have an opportunity to place their faith in Jesus Christ. Through Children's Bible Clubs, which meet daily over the course of one year, children are introduced to Jesus and invited into a loving relationship with Him. Lives are being changed as adults and children alike hear the Gospel message for the first time and learn valuable skills that equip them for life.

Tanzania is the third region of missions focus for our church. North Bible has been ministering in various parts of Tanzania since the founding of the church. In 2013, Steve and Catherine Plumb founded UBIA ministries to facilitate the ongoing work there. In partnership wtih UBIA, North is able to provide material support to the 28 orphaned children living in the Simbeti Children's Home as well as the work of Gospel Herald Ministries in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ in the region. Most recently, North has partnered with UBIA in the construction of a palliative care clinic to provide medical assistance to people in the area. You can learn more about UBIA Ministries at their website

Fuel the Mission

North Bible supports the work of Fuel the Mission (FTM), a non-profit organization founded by two members of our church. FTM provides global construction management and related services to missionaries and mission organizations. Fuel Sports, another ministry of FTM, facilitates a year-round Christian sports ministry in India that serves hundreds of kids and their families each week. Please take a moment to view their webpage and facebook page for the latest news.
