Devotional: Laugh and Learn Bible for Kids

Written by Phil Vischer (the VeggieTales guy) this family devotional will "guide readers from Genesis to Revelation, retelling beloved Bible stories AND tackling tricky questions like "What is sin?" and "What is the Trinity?" Each story is vividly illustrated, takes just five minutes to read, and includes a family connection to encourage family Bible study and help readers learn, talk, and pray together! PLUS, bonus content connects the dots of each Bible story, making the Laugh and Learn Bible for Kids a family devotional Bible that provides a big picture, applicational view of the biblical narrative."

RightNow Media: BOZ

The Green Bear Next Door helps his friends discover that as we explore God's world, we can also find the joys of being active, eating healthy, and getting clean! It's a favorite for preschoolers.

An animated series that follows a group of student owls as they travel on adventures learning about nature, faith, and God! It says for elementary, but some of our favorite preschoolers request it.

RightNow Media: Little Bible Heroes

16 animated Bible stories. This one is great for babies-preschool age. Each "episode" runs for about 1.5 minutes, perfect for those shorter attention spans. The voice of the story teller is calm.

App Recommendation: Parent Cue

If you have not already downloaded the free Parent Cue app, now is the time. It coincides with the curriculum we use each Sunday. If you missed a Sunday they have an animated Bible story to watch. It offers resources for you as a parent to guide your child in their journey to walk with Jesus.

For Students

YouVersion Reading Plan: The Parables and Teaching of Jesus

This 21-day plan (started by many of us on Monday, March 16 and ending on Palm Sunday) will lead us through many of Jesus' most important stories. We will connect with each other and share how God is challenging us through his word.

YouVersion Reading Plan: Jesus: Our Banner Of Victory

When we celebrate Easter, we celebrate the greatest triumph in history. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, He forever defeated the power of sin and the grave, and all their resulting side effects, and He chose to share that victory with us. This Easter week, let’s dive into some of the strongholds He conquered, reflect on the fight He fought for us, and praise Him as our Banner of Victory.

YouVersion Reading Plan: MOTION X

A generation of students who live their faith out day to day would change the world. Living in MOTION starts by learning how God made you, growing in leadership and serving, and by seeing the vision God has for you to make a difference.

RightNow Media: Read Scripture Series

This series is one of the most creative, helpful, and cohesive resources out there for understanding how the Bible fits together.

Spotify Playlist: Second Sundays

This playlist is full of worship songs that have been selected by our student worship team. Enjoy!

For Community Groups

Here are some resources to use with your group whether you meet in person, online or a combination of the two. You can discuss our sermons with our sermon-based discussion questions found on our SERMONS PAGE, or you may want to go through a RightNow Media study. There are hundreds to choose from, but here are some recommendations:

Oneness Embraced, by Tony Evans; this study helps promote a biblical understanding of race, diversity and unity.

Psalm 23, by Matt Chandler; this familiar Psalm will challenge you to trust the Lord to care for your needs.

The Gospel of Mark, by Francis Chan; this is a great book to get to know Jesus better.

The Book of Ephesians, by J.D. Greear; study a book of the Bible with your family or community group.

The Kindness Challenge, by Shaunti Feldhahn; now more than ever we need kindness.

Greater Than, by Francis Chan; God is bigger than the worries of today.

Another great resource for groups is to go through a reading plan on YouVersion, the Bible app. Request your group members to be friends through the app and start doing a study together. There are hundreds to choose from. Here are some ideas to get you started:

BibleProject | Justice

You and Me Forever: Marriage in light of Eternity, by Francis Chan and Lisa Chan.

The Armor of God, by Priscilla Shirer

Renew: Romans 8 With Timothy Keller
