You Can Make a Difference

At North Bible we are committed to making a difference in our community by demonstrating the love of Jesus and sharing the hope that lies within us with others. Listed below are some of the ways you can get involved.

Feed My Starving Children

In 2012, North Bible began partnering with Feed My Starving Children to provide nutritious meals to hungry kids around the world. Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God's children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and FMSC ships the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world. Their facility and program is family-friendly, allowing participation for children 5 years and up during a 90 minute session. While North arranges large-group opportunities for our church family, individuals and families can sign up for their own meal packing session at the organization's website. Please visit http://www.fmsc.org for more information.

North Cares

Since 2011, North Bible Church has been partnering with the City of Scottsdale to serve residents in need. Labeled our North Cares program, this venture provides a variety of ways that church members can minister to those in our community. The City of Scottsdale identifies residents who, for various reasons, are unable to care for their homes and properties to keep them up to city code. Oftentimes, this is the result of age, disability or lack of financial resources. North Bible teams up with the city to do small and large scale property cleanups and renovations to help those who are unable to help themselves. If you know how to rake, pull a weed, or paint a wall, North Cares is an excellent way for you to show the love of Christ to people right here in Scottsdale. The city's program that allows North to serve with them is called Operation Fix It. If you want more details about the city's program click HERE

Duck (Downtown Urban Community Kids)

DUCK is a Christian based program which addresses one of the most critical needs of the urban community – after school care. It is open to at risk kindergarten-8th grade students who reside within the boundaries designated as the inner city of Phoenix. An extended program is offered in the summer. Participants receive the following: homework help and tutoring; art, dance, drama and music; supervised computer time; science and crafts; field trips; recreation and sports. North Bible partners with DUCK via our annual back-to-school backpack drive, Christmas shoe drive, and Easter carnival. You can help DUCK in a variety of ways: giving of your time to any of the above activities; contributing to the various drives (back to school, shoe, etc); or giving financially directly to DUCK. Contact information: 602-252-8258 or www.duckkids.org.

Young Life Arizona

North has been partnering with Young Life since 2010. Everyone is welcome in Young Life! Their programs are custom made for kids throughout their adolescent years. They invite kids to follow Christ, care for them regardless of their response, and change lives in the process. Young Life is the name for the High School program. They call the middle school program WyldLife. The initiative for college and university students is called Young Life College. North supports two missionaries (Jeff Thibault and Chris McGuire) that serve with Young Life Arizona. If you would like to connect with them, their emails are jeffthibault4@gmail.com and ylmcguire@gmail.com. Check out more details at their website HERE.

College Golf Fellowship

Since 2017, North Bible Church has been an outstanding support to College Golf Fellowship (CGF). CGF exists to make disciples by investing relationally with the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world of college golf. CGF is the only Christian ministry with the specific purpose of building into the lives of college golfers, sharing the hope of Christ with them, and discipling those who have placed their trust in Him. There are currently over 1,200 college golf programs in the United States with approximately 10 players competing on each team...the 12,000+ athletes are served through local Bible studies, team & tournament visits, and a variety of retreat offerings that are often hosted by top PGA Tour players who partner with CGF.

In the past few years, CGF has intentionally broadened ministry into the world of professional golf as well. It is an exciting privilege to see how the Lord is working and changing individual hearts for His glory at the college level all the way up through the PGA Tour.
